The workshop was organized around interactive panel discussions. Each panel examined how data science could advance the achievement of specific Global Goals on the African continent.
This part of the event brought together a wide range of stakeholders—uniting data scientists with representatives from government, development organizations, and the private sector—in a unique environment where innovative, solution-driven ideas thrived.
Participants also developed a framework for attracting young African talent, mentors, and researchers from academia, the public sector, and the private sector across the continent to engage in activities aimed at harnessing big data and real-time analytics for the public good.
